Arthur C. Gray, M.D.
Dr. Gray was born in Chicago and raised in Brooklyn Heights, New York, Ohio and Toronto. Dr. Gray studied Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago and Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Gray returned to the University of Illinois as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Resident in the Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Gray has expertise in general dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of acne, skin cancer, warts, autoimmune disease, allergic contact dermatitis, and photo-aging. He has performed clinical research of emerging treatments for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal infections and hair loss. Dr. Gray recently collaborated on a chapter in the textbook Disorders of Hair Growth: Diagnosis and Treatment.
Dr. Gray is married and has three children. His wife Cynthia is a Chicago native and teaches choral music for the Chicago Public Schools. As a family they enjoy summer concerts in Millennium Park, museum trips, gymnastics and ballet classes, and are active in their church.
